Oppaiman just announced some changes to their platform: starting soon, developers who want to continue publishing there will need to get a paid membership<\/strong>.<\/p>

Now, why is this actually good news<\/strong>?
Working with Oppaiman has been quite beneficial for me, but until now there was one big downside \u2013 I had to give my Patreon supporters only<\/strong> download links hosted on Oppaiman. Their servers are generally fast and convenient, but sometimes glitches occurred \u2013 for example, some supporters were being asked to subscribe again even though they already had.<\/p>

With the new system, I\u2019ll finally be able to share alternative download links<\/strong> on other file hosts too \u2013 which should make things much easier for everyone.<\/p>

If Oppaiman always worked fine for you, feel free to keep using it. It\u2019s still one of the fastest platforms around, and their library of games is really well-curated. Their publishing rules are strict \u2013 even successful developers can lose visibility if their sales drop \u2013 but that\u2019s also what keeps their catalog filled with high-quality games<\/strong>.<\/p>

They\u2019re also introducing a direct purchase option<\/strong> for games on their site. Not all countries will have it right away (thanks to the ongoing crusade of certain payment systems against adult content), but hopefully, the availability will expand over time.
