Hello again, friends!<\/p>

It\u2019s been quite a while since the last report, hasn\u2019t it?<\/p>

As I mentioned before, I was on vacation, far away from my PC. In fact, I was in the kind of place where you could drive through the mountains for an hour and have neither mobile reception nor GPS.<\/p>

We stopped at some beautiful spots near waterfalls and jumped off cliffs into cold mountain rivers. And for miles around, there wasn\u2019t a single guy blowing his stupid whistle to tell us we weren\u2019t allowed to do that. Even better, for miles around, there wasn\u2019t a single guy trying to sell me a hot dog or a pizza.<\/p>

It was truly a vacation for the soul. And, by the way, if I hadn\u2019t gotten myself back in shape a couple of months ago, there\u2019s no way in hell I would\u2019ve climbed those cliffs to jump into the water. Everything in general would have been much harder, too.<\/p>

But I think you\u2019re probably more interested in where development of The Better Deal<\/strong> stands right now.<\/p>

Previously, I finished the final narrative event in Sunny\u2019s route. Now I\u2019ve started working on the final steamy scene, without which the happy ending wouldn\u2019t really feel like a true happy ending. I\u2019ve finished it for three states:<\/p>

vanilla relationship, Riley is a virgin;
vanilla relationship, Riley is not a virgin;
lezdom relationship, Riley is not a virgin.<\/p>

I also split the last ending option into three additional sub-options. I think it should be interesting to explore all of them.<\/p>

Right now, I\u2019m working on the final ending option: lezdom relationship, Riley is a virgin. After that, there will be a short epilogue, and then I\u2019ll move on to the final steamy scenes with Jack.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Unfortunately, the final location where Sunny\u2019s scene takes place has rather complex lighting. I decided not to change it for the animations. This way, the animations blend into the game more smoothly, with no visible lighting difference compared to the static scenes. The price for that, however, is longer rendering time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Saturday was my family day, when I don\u2019t work on the game, and Sunday was Father\u2019s Day. So I allowed myself two days off in a row. I hope you won\u2019t throw rotten tomatoes at me for that. Still, both of my PCs kept working, and as of today, I still have 108 items in the rendering queue, a good number of which are animations. That means I still haven\u2019t reached the rendering stage for the final option yet \u2013 lezdom relationship, Riley is not a virgin.
