Hello, friends! It\u2019s time for another development report.<\/p>

Before we begin, I\u2019d like to ask you to vote for both of my games on GOG. It only takes a moment, but it means a great deal to me.<\/p>

The Better Deal<\/a><\/p>

Beauty and the Thug<\/a><\/p>

Now for the good news: I have a new employee.<\/p>

She is already three months old, and her responsibilities include pointing out the exact location of the cursor on my screen, sleeping next to \u2013 or partially on \u2013 my keyboard, pressing F6 through F12, Print Screen, Scroll Lock, Pause, Num Lock, \/, *, and -, occasionally chewing or licking my hand, and regularly reminding me that she would like something to eat.<\/p>

Clearly, development will move much faster now!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Better Deal Is Nearly Finished<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Since the previous report, I have completely finished Sunny\u2019s route.<\/p>

The game includes four good endings for her:<\/p>

  • Vanilla, virgin Riley<\/li>
  • Vanilla, non-virgin Riley<\/li>
  • Lezdom, virgin Riley<\/li>
  • Lezdom, non-virgin Riley<\/li><\/ul>

    All four endings also have several variations depending on Riley\u2019s anal stats and the player\u2019s choices during the final scene.<\/p>

    After that, I completely finished Jack\u2019s route.<\/p>

    Since there is no femdom variation with Jack, the original version of his ending felt a little less substantial compared to Sunny\u2019s route. So I expanded the final scene to bring it closer to Sunny\u2019s route in terms of content.<\/p>

    I think it turned out pretty well.<\/p>

    Jack\u2019s ending also changes depending on whether Riley is a virgin, her anal stats, and the player\u2019s choices during the final scene.<\/p>

    And with that, the originally planned part of the game was complete.<\/p>

    Two updates ago, I changed Melissa\u2019s role and significantly expanded her storyline. As a result, she now needed her own proper good endings.<\/p>

    Melissa\u2019s personality has changed as well. She has evolved from someone selfish, dominant, and addicted to danger for danger\u2019s sake into a much deeper character. Behind her indifferent mask is a completely different person\u2014someone caring and loving.<\/p>

    There were already hints of this in the previous update. Now, you will finally see where it all leads.<\/p>

    Melissa\u2019s route had not been fully written, so I spent two days working on its conclusion. This was made more difficult by the fact that her storyline was already rather\u2026 kinkier compared to the others. Naturally, the finale could not afford to disappoint.<\/p>

    Yesterday, I finally finished writing this last remaining route and created around a dozen renders for it.<\/p>

    Melissa\u2019s ending branches heavily depending on:<\/p>

    • Sharing or non-sharing:<\/strong> whether Melissa shared Riley with Desmond<\/li>
    • Riley\u2019s virginity and anal stats:<\/strong> these do not simply replace vaginal scenes with anal ones\u2014the consequences are completely different<\/li>
    • The player\u2019s decisions during the final scene:<\/strong> for example, there will be two genital piercing options<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

      Unfortunately, the enormous render queue is still very much alive.<\/p>

      My graphics card is still rendering Sunny\u2019s hot final event and has not even started working on Jack\u2019s route yet.<\/p>

      This is unfortunate because it means I cannot show you any new renders right now. I send an event to Aqwaa for final processing only after the entire scene has finished rendering. But I created one myself, just not to leave this report without any render at all.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

      From a development standpoint, however, this is not a serious problem. Even while the renders are processing, I can begin coding the game, preparing translations and achievements, selecting music, and handling the rest of the work required for release.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

      Within the next few days, I need to announce\u00a0The Better Deal \u2013 Complete<\/strong> on Steam.<\/p>

      As far as I can tell, the game contains nothing prohibited. Every character is clearly 21 or older, and there is no rape or incest.<\/p>

      Still, I am nervous.<\/p>

      I do not want to say too much and jinx it, but whether Steam approves the game will have a major impact on my future as a game developer.<\/p>

      From August 1 through August 8, I will be taking another vacation.<\/p>

      Apparently, the energy from the first one has already run out.<\/p>

      Steam\u2019s manual review process will probably take some time, but I will try to release the completed game on the other platforms before August.<\/p>
