News for My Patreon Supporters
Oppaiman just announced some changes to their platform: starting soon, developers who want to continue publishing there will need to get a paid membership.
Now, why is this actually good news?
Working with Oppaiman has been quite beneficial for me, but until now there was one big downside – I had to give my Patreon supporters only download links hosted on Oppaiman. Their servers are generally fast and convenient, but sometimes glitches occurred – for example, some supporters were being asked to subscribe again even though they already had.
With the new system, I’ll finally be able to share alternative download links on other file hosts too – which should make things much easier for everyone.
If Oppaiman always worked fine for you, feel free to keep using it. It’s still one of the fastest platforms around, and their library of games is really well-curated. Their publishing rules are strict – even successful developers can lose visibility if their sales drop – but that’s also what keeps their catalog filled with high-quality games.
They’re also introducing a direct purchase option for games on their site. Not all countries will have it right away (thanks to the ongoing crusade of certain payment systems against adult content), but hopefully, the availability will expand over time.
Based on my positive experience, I decided to go all in and purchased their top-tier plan.
Upcoming Patreon and Subscribestar Changes
Due to the same global issues, starting December 1, 2025, I plan to slightly adjust my Patreon and Subscribestar tiers and make the $20 tier even more rewarding.
But don’t worry – this won’t affect any of my current supporters or anyone who joins before December 1.
Your current price will stay locked forever. You’re my legacy supporters, and many of you have been with me for years – I truly value that.
Here’s what will change for new supporters after Dec 1:
- Watcher – from $5 → $5.50
- Voter – from $10 → $12
- Creator – from $20 → $25
And all Creator tiers will come with extra perks:
- Your name listed in the credits of my games.
- At least one 4K wallpaper every month.
- At least one alternative scene (at least three renders) every month.
Full access to all previous wallpapers and alt scenes.
Development Progress
Now, onto what I’ve been working on these past two weeks!
I’ve finished two new events and one bad ending. Picking teasers without spoilers is tricky, so I’ll be brief:
I need your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle.
Riley meets Dr. Chen
And… they end up dancing!
Another event is already in progress, and once it’s done, only two more will remain before the next release – the milestone where Riley finally reaches safety.
