Hello, friends!
It’s time for another progress report.
You know, over the past two weeks I’ve genuinely enjoyed working again – and that’s a great feeling. There’s something magical about a computer that doesn’t reboot every 30–40 minutes. Both of my render PCs behaved perfectly, and honestly, that alone deserves a celebration.
By the way – have you voted for my game on GOG yet?
No?! How could you!
Quickly hop over there, cast your vote, and come back. I’d be incredibly grateful – it really matters to me.
Before diving into game progress, I want to share a personal achievement.
When you’re very much no longer twenty, eat whatever’s available, grind at your main job, and then work on a game until 3 a.m… well, that lifestyle isn’t exactly health-friendly. Nothing dramatic – but one small issue after another, and at some point you start feeling like you’re slowly falling apart.
So in mid-August, I finally decided to take my health seriously. I completely changed how I eat and started going to the gym every single day. I spent over 6 hours a week on the treadmill and elliptical – sometimes up to 90 minutes a day – and did strength training five times a week.
The result? In just over five months, I lost more than 55 pounds (25 kg) – and the hardest part – I managed not to lose muscle mass.
Of course, the fact that I spend an hour and a half a day in the gym means that I have less time for game development. But now, this investment is paying off huge: my productivity is through the roof, my energy levels are up, and to be honest, I feel like a totally different person.
Last week, my wife and I had a very serious talk. She told me that I’d been looking like a string bean. Or like Gru from Despicable Me – muscular upper body, scrawny legs (for the record: I’m not bald, and my nose is perfectly normal!). And since it is also very important for me to remain physically attractive to my wife, I decided to cut the diet a bit earlier than I originally planned.
The muscles remained, but the brakes are gone completely. Instead of spending my days lounging around eating pizza with cake and feeling “deep satisfaction,” I immediately transitioned into muscle-building mode. I still go to the gym 7 days a week, but I completely overhauled my routine: cardio went from 6+ hours a week to about 1 hour a week, and on some days, I now do 30-minute mini-sessions instead of 90-minute marathons.
The end result? More time for game development – and more energy.
Jokes aside, from the very start, I approached this whole thing from a scientific standpoint. I read a massive amount of information on diet control, nutrition variables, supplements, cardio, and strength training. At this point, I can honestly say that I’ve become something of an expert – I could probably write a very solid book on the subject.
So yeah: if you want to lose weight – ask me how.
I don’t know exactly what comes next, but I’m confident that the knowledge and habits I gained during this ”-25 kg: There and Not Back Again” journey will stay with me for life. Staying in shape really isn’t that hard – once you know what you’re doing.
Now – back to Beauty and the Thug
As you know, this update will cover Amy and her interactions with Lisa after becoming her girlfriend. Since the last report, I’ve completed three different Amy events.
First, there’s a trip to an adult boutique in the Red Light District. That’s where Amy meets Jackie, the shop assistant. I originally planned this as a short event, but things escalated, and it turned into a long, very hot one.
Amy and Lisa buy two and a half toys for nighttime entertainment – and more. One toy is already fully integrated into the game; the other “one and a half” will require a bit more work, but I’m confident I’ll handle that quickly.
Second, I added the ability to visit a night club together with Amy.
Third, I added the “having a nap” event with Amy. The girls lie down for a short rest – though, as you can imagine, sleeping peacefully next to each other doesn’t last very long.
Right now, I’m working on the final planned standalone event – “Check on Amy.”
As I mentioned earlier, this will allow you to chat with Amy, ask her for help, ask her for something naughty, or establish some rules. Some of these options are harmless, while others will increase Amy’s submissiveness.
This will allow you to either continue with a completely vanilla relationship – or move on to a much more serious lezdom relationship, all and all up to you.
Below, I have compiled a table detailing what I have planned for this update. This is merely the beginning – or rather, the introduction of this feature.
Green is what I definitely want to do, while yellow is things that could possibly happen now or in the next update.
What would you like to see added to this table?
I am also considering allowing Creator-level patrons to comment on or even help me edit this table – but that’s for the future updates. Otherwise, I’d never make it back to The Better Deal.
One More Surprise
Nev wrote a short fanfic for The Better Deal titled “The Wedding Present.”
He wrote this one quite a bit ago, but I only just had the chance to read it – and I’m glad I did. It’s simply beautiful, truly.
Of course, all characters are fictional, and any resemblance to real-life Riley and Sunny is purely coincidental.
That’s it for now, friends!
As you can see, I’m getting close to completing the content I have planned. With renewed energy – and thanks to Aqwaa’s help – things should start moving quickly from here.
I wish you all the best, fewer problems, and fewer unnecessary calories.
Yours,
zegamez
