At last, the new progress report is ready.
I apologize for the delay. To be honest, I simply didn’t have the emotional strength. My cat passed away. Those who have never had pets may not fully understand, and those who have don’t need any explanation.
Nevertheless, I kept working, and I managed to get quite a lot done. In fact, I have fully completed the actual game for all routes. Only the dessert is left: the epilogue.
But this is not just a couple of lines and a handful of images. The epilogues are planned to be fairly substantial, hot, and different not only for every route, but also for Riley as a virgin and as a non-virgin. In addition, I have several surprises planned there, and I’m sure you will really like them.
In practice, this means one ending for single Riley, two endings with Jack, four endings with Sunny, as well as endings with Melissa. Melissa’s scenario still needs some additional work, because in the third update I got carried away, and what was supposed to be a “gray” ending turned into a full romantic route.
So, The Better Deal will soon be ready to be listed on Steam as Coming Soon.
Besides that, I have polished Desperate Pleasure. Thank you to Knight of the Lance, and to everyone else who helped find bugs and typos. A little later, I’m thinking of adding a couple of animations, which would allow me to release the update as a Major Update and significantly improve the promotional side of things.
Overall, for such a short and niche game, I’m happy with the result. I also want to try publishing it on Steam, but considering the specifics of the content, I’ll do that after The Better Deal. If Desperate Pleasure gets rejected for publication, that would be bad timing right before the launch of The Better Deal.
I’m also thinking about publishing short games from time to time, each focused specifically on a particular fetish, and making them as hot as my imagination allows. I’m thinking of releasing these short games as extra content, just like I did with Desperate Pleasure. At the same time, I would make all previous games available as part of the regular content, alongside the latest versions of Beauty and the Thug and The Better Deal.
How would you feel about that?
