Hello, dear supporters! It’s time for the next update!
First, I’m excited to share that I’ve upgraded my PC. As some of you may know, AMD released its new line of processors on August 15th. For the first time in my life, I was that guy who monitored online stores from the early morning and managed to snag the new Ryzen 9 9950X around 8 am, right when sales started. It took five days for the CPU to arrive (I bought everything else in advance), and I then spent three days assembling the new PC and configuring all the necessary software.
Now, with the upgrade complete, I’ve replaced my old Ryzen 9 3900X with the Ryzen 9 9950X, and the performance boost is noticeable!
Additionally, I upgraded my boot NVMe drive from a 512 GB Seagate FireCuda 520 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 to a 2 TB Crucial New 2024 T705 PCIe Gen5. This new drive not only gives me ample space but also significantly improves speed, as a nearly full SSD tends to slow down. I’ve also increased my RAM from 64 GB to 128 GB. As I often work on multiple renders simultaneously, 64 GB was sometimes insufficient, but now, with 128 GB, I’m ready for anything.
My current build even allows for an additional graphics card, which I plan to add in the future. Thank you so much for your support, everyone! It’s because of your generosity that I was able to make these upgrades and enhance my workflow.
Beyond the PC upgrades, I’ve been working on Beauty and the Thug. I’ve completed Day 25 for the Amy + Hunter route.
Besides that, I finished the daytime event for Hunter’s route.
I’m also close to wrapping up the Day 25 event for Hunter’s route, which I’ll update you on in the next report. Then, I’ll proceed to the Day 26.
